My goal is always to make my clients' experience as seamless as possible from the first inquiry to the final gallery delivery!
I know how intimidating being in front of the camera can be, so I approach every session with comfort and connection in mind. I have clients fill out a questionnaire so that I can get to know them better and tailor the session to their personality and desires!
I want to provide you with more than just beautiful photos, memories that you can cherish when you look back.
What can I expect when booking a session?
STEP 01
Fill out the form
Send me an inquiry with all the details of your desired session! I will get back to you with available dates and times to book your session, as well as answer any other questions you may have before booking.
STEP 02
Planning period
When you are ready to book your session, you will receive the booking link for your date and time via email. Here you will fill out a questionnaire, sign the contract, and pay any applicable session retainer.
You will receive my location guide to look through all of my frequently used and recommended locations to choose what works best for you!
We will work together to make sure you are ready for your session. If you need help with outfit or prop planning, I am always glad to assist!
STEP 03
Picture time
Leading up to your session, I will reach out with any additional details you may need before we start the session!
We will meet at your planned session time and start shooting. I will guide you through prompts and poses with as much or as little direction as you need!
Once we have captured all the images, and our time together is over, final payments will be made, and we will go our separate ways!
STEP 04
Delivering photos
You will receive a sneak peek of your gallery within 48 hours, so you get to relive the magic!
Your final gallery will be available within 7 days of your session. You will receive this via an emailed link with your download details. Your gallery will be available online for 30 days.
FAQ
What if we are awkward in front of the camera?
Do not worry, everyone thinks that they are awkward in front of the camera! My job is to help you relax and feel confident. I will guide you through all the prompts and poses we may need for your session, but I will also let you be you and capture those authentic in-between moments!
How do we select our location?
During the booking process, you will receive my location guide featuring all kinds of location options for you to choose from. This includes open fields. beautiful lake views, urban architecture, and more. You are free to choose whatever location suits you and your dream for the session!
When will we receive our photos?
You will always receive a sneak peek within the first few days of your session to provide you with a glimpse into your gallery. The final gallery with all of your carefully edited images will be returned within seven days of your session. If there is any kind of delay, you will always be made aware in advance.
What should we wear for our session?
I always recommend something that you feel comfortable in, because comfort is confidence. As for colors and patterns, neutral, earthy tones, natural textures, and simple patterns always photograph beautifully and make for timeless images. For sessions with multiple people, I always ask that you coordinate, not match. Identical patterns and outfits can often be a distracting, overwhelming look. While these are my recommendations, you should always wear what you feel best in, as that is what you will photograph best in!
